Standards and Certifications

Commercial tree services strive for excellence by adhering to established standards and obtaining certifications. The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) sets guidelines for the industry’s practices to ensure proper care and safety. Many companies in this field, such as Stein, employ ISA Certified Arborists who have demonstrated their expertise and are committed to continued education. This pursuit of knowledge is crucial in keeping up with new industry research and techniques. Certifications like the Tree Risk Assessor Qualified (TRAQ) and ISA Municipal Specialist are additional certifications exemplifying an individual’s commitment to continuous learning and on-going skill development. Contractor licenses and credentials from the Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA) are also indicators of experience and skill. These qualifications help ensure that the services provided maintain high standards of safety and quality, making them reliable partners for commercial properties.

Role of Certified Arborists

Certified arborists are key players in commercial tree services. They have significant knowledge and experience in arboriculture, indicated by their credentials from the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA). These professionals are experts in assessing and maintaining the health and safety of trees on commercial properties. They identify risks like overhanging branches or potential tree fall situations. Expert in tree biology and maintenance, certified arborists handle tasks such as pruning and diagnosing tree-related issues. Their goal is to enhance both the safety and aesthetic appeal of the landscape. By prioritizing proper care with regular inspection and treatment programs, they often prevent the need for tree removal. Continuous education allows them to keep updated with the latest practices and research, ensuring top-quality service for commercial clients.
